Lee! That is certainly a new way to look at addition of new features, and one to keep in mind. I think there is an assumption that new features are always better but I think that has shown countless times to be a bit of a myth.

The thing about software in general is striking the right balance between providing enhanced functionality and insuring widespread adoption. With some of the newer ICTs, the adoption rates have been slow (like wikis for instance) because they aren't simplified for a broader audience.

I can not take credit for the design (only the logo). It is a free WP template called 'unsleepable'. For more info: http://openswitch.org/unsleepable

Hi Jiyan,
I agree about Jason and 37 Signals. Some friends of mine here in Seattle did a project with them a few years ago and became bigger fans of their work along the way. One thing they told me about the process was regarding the addition of new features. New features shouldn't be added unless it is painful (as expressed by users) not to. The Signals get some flack for going a bit overboard on simplicity in some of their products, but they practice what they preach and have earned their great reputation.

By the way, your web site is beautiful Jiyan - I love the simplicity.
