I recently attended the Society for New Communications Research 2008 New Communications Forum. Both Todd Defren and Radian6 played major roles at the event - Todd as a speaker and Radian6 as a sponsor.

I have a great deal of respect for both SHIFT and Radian6, and think they are both doing some great things in the social media space so I was excited when I was saw their news release yesterday announcing that SHIFT had chosen Radian6 as their social media monitoring platform. Of course, I was even more excited to see that they used PRWeb to make their announcement.

In addition to the news, the release itself is (as you can imagine) a really great example of how a news release can be structured on PRWeb: It contains multimedia elements like images and video; contains links to video quotes; contains targeted keywords in key areas of the release; and is simply well written.
