Yesterday, we announced the launch of the Summer ’07 version of our software. The new version contains some great feature upgrades. Most notably:
RSS Subscription / Creation - Vocus customers now have an integrated RSS reader in-console that will allow them to subscribe to the RSS feeds for media outlets – providing a supplement to Vocus news-on-demand. Customers will also be able to easily create RSS feeds for their collateral.
Video Display in-console - Vocus PR will display aggregated video content in-console so you don’t have to leave the software in order to watch video news clips. Here is an example of how this looks:
There is a laundry list of additional upgrades that are oriented towards increasing the usability and functionality of the software, which are probably better explained through taking a demo with Vocus.
